Safety Rules for Archery
General Requirements:
Archery is practiced only in specially designated areas, where the path of the arrows is clearly defined and protected. Before starting training or competition, it is mandatory to ensure that no people are in the shooting zone. It is forbidden to point the bow, with or without an arrow, at people, animals, or objects not designated as targets.
Equipment Usage:
The bow and arrows must be in perfect working condition. Each archer is responsible for checking the string, the integrity of the bow, and the arrow tips before each use. Damaged equipment must not be used. Shooting "dry" (without an arrow) or without a clear purpose, as well as without the instructor's consent, is strictly forbidden.
Conduct of Activities:
Shooting starts only at the signal of the instructor or the person in charge. When targets are changed or arrows are retrieved, all participants stop their activity and wait for confirmation that the area is safe. Crossing the shooting line without permission is prohibited. Violation of these rules may lead to disciplinary action, including temporary suspension from activities.
Behavior During Training and Competitions
Participants must show discipline, respect, and team spirit. It is not permitted to distract other archers during shooting, make unnecessary noise, or disrupt activities. It is important to follow the coach's directions and respect the established schedule.
Punctuality is essential. If you are late, notify the coach in advance. During events, order must be maintained: do not cross the shooting line without permission, maintain appropriate distance, and use equipment responsibly.
The consumption of alcohol, drugs, or other prohibited substances before or during activities is completely forbidden. In case of serious violations, organizers may apply disciplinary measures, including temporary suspension from training or competitions.
