About Club
The "Tevtar" club was founded in 2015 by a group of enthusiasts passionate about traditional archery and historical reconstruction. The idea of establishing the club arose from the desire to preserve and develop this ancient art that combines physical preparation, precision, and harmony. We started as a small group of friends training outdoors, but over time, we were joined by both beginners and experienced archers, which allowed us to become a club in the true sense of the word.
Our mission is to promote traditional archery as both a sport and cultural heritage. We aim to create a space where everyone can learn the technique of archery, discover the history of different types of bows and arrows, and become part of a united community of enthusiasts. Within the "Tevtar" club, we support both beginners and advanced athletes, organize training, participate in tournaments, and conduct historical reconstruction events.
Club Founders
The "Tevtar" club was founded by Ruslan Sandu, Serghei Delejan, Victor Galchin, and Valentin Strogoteanu — with additional support from Alina Galchina, experienced archers and enthusiasts of historical reconstruction. Their passion for traditional archery and desire to unite like-minded people led to the creation of a club that today brings together lovers of this ancient art.
